Dear Friends,

For those of you who do not know me personally, my name is Emily Simonian and I'm a composer, lyricist, and librettist. Over the past few years, I've been writing When Two of Us Meet, a musical that tells the story of an Armenian family immigrating to America in the early 20th century-- a testament to the resilience and success of the Armenian diaspora.

Today, I'm asking you to visualize this story on stage. Globally, stories like this shed light on the experiences of minorities, immigrants, and underrepresented communities, fostering a deeper understanding across cultures. Representing Armenian culture in this way—much like Fiddler on the Roof and In the Heights have celebrated their own communities—would be a meaningful triumph for Armenians around the world.

My team and I warmly invite you to consider joining us, whether through creative collaboration, producing, sponsoring, attending in-person or viewing our first livestream concert in New York City on Saturday, March 22, 2025, your support would mean the world to us.

Many thanks,

Emily Simonian
